Newbie Start Guide
So you're new huh?

The following is the easiest way to get started, with some things to keep in mind as well:

The style that I personally think is most effective would be freestyle. Technically every opener is canned, the only difference is whether or not you are congruent. Sitting at home watching material for hours is great, and can be very interesting, but ultimately you need to be out in field. The guide is meant to make this process as simple as possible, so you can get going instead of dabbling in your room.

Step 1- Memorize 3 Openers

That's it! Just 3 simple openers. You can make them up yourself, or find them online. It doesn't even matter if they've been "proven" to work or not, we are not concerned about such things. The most important thing to keep in mind is to care about them. If you actually are curious "Who lies more boys or girls?", then by all means use it. If you don't give a shit, I'd recommend finding an alternative instead.

Step 2 - Pick a Primary Opener

Of the three you memorized, pick one that will be the one you will start with. This is so you don't have to think about which one you should use, you've already picked it out!

Step 3 - Find a Place to Practice

This can be anywhere you can find women: the grocery store, the mall, a pub, a lounge, a club, or the streets. Ideally pick a place that will have a high concentration, so you are being effective with your time.

Step 4 - Pick a Target

This can be any girl, whether by herself or in a group.

Step 5 - Approach your Target

Once you've picked a target, approach her with your primary opener.

Step 6 - Get your Target's Response

See what her response is, and take a mental note. Did it engage them? Were they interested?

Step 7 - Eject

Once you've received your response, thank them and eject with "It was a pleasure meeting you." The purpose of ejecting is by doing so, you predetermine the outcome, thus, eliminating the "Fear of Loss", since you already know how the interaction will end.

Memorize 3 Openers -> Choose a Primary Opener -> Find a Place to Practice -> Pick a Target -> Approach your Target -> Get your Target's Response -> Eject

Now that you know what you need to do, you need to set some goals. Here are the goals to start with:

Goal #1: Perform 3 warm-up approaches.

Goal #2: Perform at least 3 more approaches after the warm-ups.

Goal #3: Practice at least 3 days a week.

The first goal is there because it takes 3 approaches before you begin to feel comfortable with the prospect of approaching strangers and starting a conversation. After these 3 you will begin to loosen up, and take your approaches further.

The second goal is to start building your competence. The more you do the better, as you will gain experience with each approach you make. This will also make you more comfortable. At the very least, you must do 3 approaches after your warm-ups, forcing yourself to do 6 each outing (3 warm-ups + 3 more).

The final goal is to establish a consistent means of practice. Just like anything else, (such as the gym), you must have a routine set out, so you can continue to build on your foundation.

After doing this a few times, you will want to start pushing your interactions further. The easiest way to do this is by stacking openers. To do this, approach using your primary first, and after you receive your targets response, stack your second opener, get her response, and then use the third opener you picked. You can push the number of sets as well as the number of nights you go out higher.

You may still have a fear of approaching women, just remember to focus and trust the process, and soon enough you will discover it's just talking to women, and it's pretty easy!!!

Good luck!

RE: Newbie Start Guide
Nicely broken down into simple, manageable steps. I particularly like the 'eject' concept.
