So I was up at my campus today, and one of the campus buildings is actually joined with a shopping mall (don't ask, just accept it)

I see this girl who was on the train+bus with me all the time up to the campus, and she is looking at the mall's directory. She's facing with her back to me, bad logistics BUT salvageable. I come up right beside her, looking at the directory and ask "so, what are we looking for?"
I don't remember what she answered...
Asked her if she is a student here and she says yes, I ask "say, did you have lunch yet?"
Her:"No..."
Me: "Okay then, let's go" and off we are to the food court

I get some Chinese food there, she apparently had her lunch packed up, and we sit down. She's a bit cold at first but at some point as I mention how awesome it is to have the campus with a mall she warms up.
We talk about different things, what we're do on campus (she is surprisingly an engineer, pretty rare for a girl).
At some point she asks me "do you dance?" and I reply with a yes. She is completely surprised by that, she said usually the response she gets from guys is "dance? me? no...dancing is gay" or something to that effect.
I reply with "dude, I'm 23, I passed that stage."

We talk some more and I get that she is a 1st year at the university. Because there are some 17 year olds running around as frosh I want to establish she's, well, legal.
I ask her about good clubs around town, she says she doesn't know any, so I reply with "Oh, you're still 18 then?" (Legal age here is 18, BUT drinking age is 19).
Her: "well, almost..."
Me: Sad

"oh, 17 then"
Her: "well, almost..."
Me: *WTF?* "what?"
Her: "Yeah, I'm 16...close to 17"

Find out the pipsqueak had a messed up schooling history but was able to jump a few grades. I didn't bother with anything significant after that, including closing. I just chuckled at the whole matter.

I hope you had LOLed too...

Hey WT,

How much are you kinoing during the instadates? Rule of thumb: Keep kino minimal during day game, UNTIL you are on an instadate. Then kino as if it were a regular date.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about girls' ages on campus. Wait for them to bring the age up and just focus on running a good set.

Of course, don't be messing around with underage girls. However, qualifying a girl on her age isn't the first thing you want to do in a set, IMO.
